MARTA serves Clifton Road with the #6 bus line running between the Candler Park and Lindbergh rail stations and the 145 Express between the Kensington and Lindbergh rail stations.

By car, take I-85 to exit 91(Clairmont). If coming down I-85 south, turn left onto Clairmont Road and if coming up I-85 north, turn right onto Clairmont Road. Take Clairmont to North Decatur Road. Turn right onto North Decatur Road, and proceed one mile to Clifton Road (Law School is on your right). Turn right onto Clifton Road. Turn left onto Houston Mill Road. Take the first left (located in front of a parking deck) and go to the second deck with the blue "Visitor Parking" sign.

The library has eight self-service copiers. One copier accepts coins and $1 bills and all copiers accept copy cards. Copies are 25 cents with coins, and either 7 cents (Emory) or 15 cents (Visitors) with a copy card. For Emory users, your Emory ID serves as your copy card. Visitors may purchase a copy card for $1 in the Photocopy Office and can add value to the card using the EmoryCard deposit machine in the main copy room. The deposit machine accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills.
4. How do I print from the library computers?
Computers in the Information Desk Area print to the EmoryCard printer. You can use your EmoryCard ID or your copy card to pay for prints. At the EmoryCard Print Station choose your computer number (i.e. Health 7) from the queue. Prices for black/white laser prints are: 10 cents per page for Emory users and 15 cents per page for visitors. Computers in the Media Services area are available only to Faculty, staff and students of the Emory Health Sciences Center, and Media Services only accepts cash for prints.

6. Who is eligible to borrow books?
Emory faculty, staff and students as well as staff of the Atlanta VA Medical Center, the Centers for Disease Control and Children's Healthcare System of Atlanta, may borrow books for four weeks, with two four week renewals. Alumni of the Health Sciences Center, faculty and students at ARCHE institutions and library members may borrow books for two weeks. All borrowers must present a valid photo ID at checkout. 7. Can I check out a journal?
No. The journal collection at the Health Sciences Center Library does not circulate. You may read and make photocopies from the journal collection while in the library.

9. How do I borrow materials not owned at Emory?
If you are a faculty, staff, or student at Emory, you may place an Interlibrary Loan request by using the ILLiad function in EUCLID, the library's online catalog. Normal turnaround time for articles is 7-10 working days.
10. Can I visit the library if I'm not affiliated with Emory University?
Yes. The library is open to everyone needing health related information, except during brief exam study periods in the fall and spring. The library�s print book and journal collections are available to everyone on-site, but some electronic databases and online journals are available only to Emory faculty, staff and students. 12. Where can I get the list of journals that the library owns?
EUCLID, Emory's online catalog of books and journals, contains information about each of the journal titles available at Emory University. Search the catalog by journal title, subject, or keyword: each record will indicate which years/volumes are owned by Emory Libraries and the name of the Library where the title is located. The record will also provide links to electronic versions of the journal, if available. ejournals can also be used to access electronic journals.
